Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements and management reports for operations in Canada
and the United States.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures in a multi-company environment.
- Establish and monitor accounting control procedures.
- Support cash forecasts and invoicing.
- Maintain and lead policy creation for administrative procedures.
- Develop and maintain measures of performance reporting.
Requirements:
- Completion of a certification program in accounting and/or enrollment in the CGA or CMA program at a senior level.
- Two years' experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency with Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and think beyond the traditional accounting role.
