温尼泊周四新年烟火表演较往年会有更多惊喜

像往年一样，30000温尼泊市民都正在翘首期待周四新年夜在Forks的新年烟火表演，不过今年温尼泊新年烟火表演将会有很大不同。
Archangel烟火公司的老板兼今年温尼泊新年烟火表演设计者Kelly Guille称，今年温尼泊新年烟火表演的最大不同是，往年都会固定在一个地方燃放，而今年会设在四处不同地方，分别是港口的海豚雕像处，河岸，桥上和South Point（往年都只在这一处燃放）。
Candice Mitchell称，往年很多市民嫌停车麻烦，就都喜欢呆在桥上看烟火表演，不过今年不一样，今年市民要是想领略烟火的美景，最好是靠Forks近一点，不然会错过很多东西。
另一大不同之处是，今年温尼泊烟火表压还请来温尼泊著名的DJ帮忙配上音乐，包括有DJ duo, DJ Co-op 和 DJ Hunnicutt，以提升新年的喜庆气氛。往年烟火表演都没有音乐。
Guille还提醒道，完全不用担心新年夜的天气状况，天气丝毫影响不到烟火表演。此外，周四晚上的烟火表演一共会燃放至少10000枚烟火。
Archangel烟火公司对市民来说并不陌生，过去连续三届的世锦赛烟火表演都是该公司设计的，该公司最大的优势就是不落传统窠臼，勇于探索创新。

刚刚查过新闻，其实今天不止是烟火拉，还有好多好玩的活动在forks！！！！

Winnipeg’s biggest New Year’s party will be at The Forks,  and you know it will all end with fireworks.

All day next Thursday,  the Arctic Glacier Winter Park will be open,  and because we now have plenty of snow,  will make for some excellent tobogganing and snowboarding conditions for the kids.

Kids’ crafts will be offered from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.,  and marshmallow roasting form 5: 30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m.

Live entertainment on the Scotiabank main stage will begin at 5: 45 p.m. to 9: 15 p.m. and features acts from Manitoba’s vibrant musical community.

Horse drawn wagon rides will be available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The main attraction of the evening — fireworks — kickoff at 10 p.m.

If taking the bus will be your safe mode of transportation that night,  additional buses will be available on York Avenue (west bound) following the fireworks. Regular transit fares apply. There’s also Operation Red Nose.
