I am a Registered Music Teacher who has been teaching piano for over 30 years. I earned both the Teaching and the Performing degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto as a young adult, and have enjoyed teaching, performing and accompanying from that time till now. I teach in my home, on a Grand Piano, in the East Kildonan area of Winnipeg.
My training and expertise is in classical music. I have prepared students for all grades up to the Gr. 10 Royal Conservatory piano exams, and have taught the required theory courses. For those students who are not interested in festivals and/or exams, I teach piano methods suitable to their interests and aptitudes.
I have some slots available for teaching, starting in January. It is my humble hope that a few students in your Chinese Community will be interested in taking piano lessons from me. I have been impressed with the discipline and musicality of Chinese students in the past, and would look forward to teaching more students from your community.

My rates, at $18per half hour lesson, are similar to other Registered Music Teachers in this area. I would be happy to meet with you in person to see if the arrangement would work for both of us.
