Title: Warehouse shipping clerk
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Day, Evening
Shift: Could be Day or Evening; some work during weekends;
Salary: $11.00 per hour starting wage.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Winnipeg and Area, Manitoba (2 vacancies)
Skill Requirements:
Education: High school
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 1 to 2 years’ experience an asset
Languages: English
Type of Equipment: fork-lifts and electric pallet jack (Company will provide training for both)
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills:
1. Follow verbal instructions and understand paper order
2. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
3. Record shortages and reject damaged goods
4. Pack goods to be shipped, Unpack goods received, Oversee loading and unloading of goods
5. Document work complete in time
6. Working in a team
7. Continuous learning
