上高中的时候多参加这类活动对以后上大学和申请奖学金，包括写简历找临时工作都有很大帮助
Register Your Teen (Grades 10-12) for BioTrek

In line with Biovail's desire to support organizations and programs that encourage students to pursue advanced education in the sciences, medical research and health care, Biovail has partnered with BioTrek - a national summer program designed to give bright and motivated high-school students the opportunity to learn more about the exciting and rapidly evolving field of biotechnology.
As part of Biovail's partnership, BioTrek has created two new sites in Steinbach, Manitoba and Oakville, Ontario to allow greater accessibility for children of Biovail employees to enroll in this program.
The BioTrek program, opened to students from Grades 10-12, runs from July 10-14. Biovail's sponsorship of this national program provides us with eight spots at Steinbach Regional Secondary School in Steinbach, Manitoba, and six spots at McLaughlin College, a high school in Oakville, Ontario. Biovail will cover the registration fee for children of Company employees.
Registration forms can be found online at http://www.biotrek.ca/students-app.htm. Please forward the completed forms by Friday, June 23 to Elaine Minutillo. Spots will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. (Please Note: All program activities will take place at the respective high schools.)
About BioTrek
Launched in 1999 by Winnipeg-based educator Dr. Sheppy Coodin, BioTrek is an educational initiative designed to give bright and motivated high-school students the opportunity to learn more about the exciting and rapidly evolving field of biotechnology.
Since the program’s inception, more than 400 students have purified DNA from cells, turned genes “off” and “on,” inserted foreign DNA into E. coli bacteria and more. In 2006 BioTrek is offered in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Steinbach, Oakville, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Saint John.
